Season Format:

Eight teams compete over a 7-week season — 6 weeks of Round Robin play followed by Week 7 playoffs.

The top four teams based on regular-season records will advance to the playoff bracket.

Note: There will be no matches during the week of November 25 & 27 (Thanksgiving week).

League Divisions

Beginner League (2.5 & Up)

·        Day: Tuesdays

·        Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

·        Level: Self-rated 2.5 to early 3.0, following USAPA skill definitions

·        Season Start Date: November 4

·        Playoffs: December 16

·        Description: Perfect for newer players looking to build consistency, court awareness, and doubles teamwork in a fun, structured environment.

Intermediate League (3.5 & Up)

·        Day: Thursdays

·        Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

·        Level: Self-rated 3.5 and above, as defined by the USAPA

·        Season Start Date: November 6

·        Playoffs: December 18

·        Description: Designed for intermediate to advanced players seeking competitive, high-energy play and strategy-driven matchups.

Match Format

Each league night consists of three total matches per team:

·        1 Men’s Doubles match

·        1 Women’s Doubles match

·        1 Mixed Doubles match

Each match is played once to 11 points, win by 2.

The team that wins two out of three matches wins the overall team matchup for that week.

All matches follow USAPA rules and traditional side-out scoring.

Playoff Structure

·        Week 7 (December 16 & 18) features the playoffs, with the top four teams advancing.

·        Semifinals determine who moves on to the medal round.

·        Winners of the medal round are crowned Eagle Glen League Champions.

League Details

·        Team Size: Minimum 2 men and 2 women, maximum 8 players per team

·        Entry Fee: $250 per team per season

·        Sign-Ups Open: October 12

·        Sign-Ups Close: October 31

·        Dates Skipped: Week of November 25 & 27 (Thanksgiving Break)

·        Lineups: Each team will select and submit their weekly player lineup every Sunday for the upcoming week’s matches.

·        Team Captains: Each team must designate one captain responsible for:

o   Submitting the full roster of player names and DUPR ID numbers

o   Ensuring all players are associated with the Eagle Glen Pickleball DUPR account

o   Settling the team’s payment before the season begins
